The REEA Foundation is a registered Section 21 non-profit organisation with a primary focus on maintaining a residential care facility for adults living with epilepsy and associated illness.
The residence is located on York Avenue in Craighall Park. The REEA Foundation houses 39 beneficiaries on a permanent basis with assisted care to all aspects of daily living. In addition, residents are cared for 24 hours a day by qualified nurses.
The REEA Foundation also operates an HIV/AIDS orphan outreach programme, food security programmes for disabled or previously disadvantaged individuals, a day care programme for persons with mild neurological disorders and a literacy outreach programme.
The businesses at The REEA Centre on Marlborough Avenue all contribute in some way to sustain the foundation and over the years The Centre has established itself as a much loved place for our local community to visit and enjoy.
